Font Settings in Maxjournal

Selecting Your Font, Font Size, Text Brightness, and Background Brightness

You may choose a Font, and select a font size by touching the Font Settings button in the Topbar Toolbar. Font Settings are set for your whole journal - there is no capability for individual entry font settings currently.

You will see quite a few fonts to choose from! Select a font and you will see the font in your journal dynamically change.

Tap the button with a small 'A' to make the font 1 point smaller, and the button with the large 'A' to make the font 1 point larger. You will see the text in your journal dynamically change as you watch.

Setting Text Brightness and Text Background Brightness

There are two sliders at the bottom of the Font Settings menu. This allows you to set both the text and the text background to a custom brightness - for example, if you wanted white text on a very dark text background, set the Text Brightness to white and the Text Background to black.

A good reason to do this might be to have a 'night-time' setup. By darkening the Text Background and lightening the text brightness, the iPad screen will give off a lot less brightness and will not bother those sleeping around you.
